American GFM Puts Sales in Gear with New Milling Video
|
American GFM recently asked Allied Video Services to create a presentation video to spearhead the introduction of the "AMS-20," a new crankshaft milling machine. The unique design of the machine provides unparalleled flexibility to the automotive giants. It can machine four, six or eight cylinder crankshafts in cast metal or steel. With versatility like that, they will surely be in demand. The seven minute piece featured many animated sequences and was hosted from a virtual set. Using Lightwave 3D, our animators created not only the set, but four process animations as well. The detailed animations took the viewer inside the machine and required us to build a working virtual AMS-20. The video has been very well received both by American GFM and their customers

In a recent letter, Mr. Moody said; "This letter comes as an expression of gratitude to you and your staff for a job well done and to say 'Thank You'. The Passion Lives in Tidewater

April 2004 saw Mel Gibson’s “The Passion of the Christ” pass 300 million at the box office and locally several churches in Hampton Roads showed their faith and spirit with their own productions. The common denominator was production services provided by Allied Video Services.
Kempsville Church of Christ in Virginia Beach produced “This Is My Son”. Allied Video shot some interesting close ups during the rehearsal and then covered a live production with three cameras. The show was edited live on site into a base master. The live show footage was mixed with the rehearsal footage into a two hour video master that was made available in VHS and DVD. All production, authoring and duplication were accomplished in house at Allied Video Services Studio in Chesapeake.
Deep Creek Baptist Church in Chesapeake produced “I Stand Redeemed” This production featured an orchestra and a three level stage. Once again the crew at Allied shot critical rehearsal shots and added them to a live production shoot. The two hour production was made available to the cast and crew.
Liberty Baptist church has a wonderful video department and had recorded and edited their own production. However they needed help in the delivery of the production to their cast and crew. They selected Allied Video Services to author the DVD’s and provide the duplication services for all of the DVD and VHS copies.
AVS has worked with local churches covering their productions for many years. We can provide coverage for your live event with multiple camera coverage and live or post editing. We use state of the art digital cameras and editing equipment for excellent picture and sound quality. |

A New Look and New Capabilities Add Services and Value
|
Allied Video Services has completely remodeled its office in Chesapeake. Included in the remodel was an expansion of its non-linear editing capabilities by adding two new editing suites. The new suites featuring HD capability is in response to the greater demand for Web site design, DVD and DVD authoring.
We have also added a new live production capability. The new equipment allows for the mixing of video clips, 4 cameras, effects, stills, and computer inputs into a single mixed source. This mix can be saved digitally, exported to a video projector, exported to DVD or streamed on the Internet.
An entire meeting can be run efficiently through the system to create a smooth professional presentation and a record of the event as well.

You can feel helpless watching a child with Cerebral Palsy struggle to sit up or walk. But in 2007 Allied Video Services donated the productions of four videos that captured the progress that these children are making with a new form of therapy called “conductive education”. AVS also designed a Web site for them to feature the videos, educate and enroll others in their program.
Director Judith Roth wrote, “Your expertise, time and energy that you put into this project resulted in four heart warming stories. Although I know these children and their history, even I got teary-eyed watching the short clips. You are a very talented filmmaker, and we truly feel honored to be given the opportunity to work with you.”
